It is a delight and pleasure to be writing this foreword for my wife. To me, JoJo has been a wife, friend, lover, and pal. JoJo has been a true blessing to me in many ways. For over 42 years, she has been a faithful, loving wife who has always looked for ways to help me, to encourage me, and to do the little things to keep me going.

JoJo is a true, godly mother of six children. She also has had two miscarriages. She is always there to give her heart and ears to our children and to brighten their lives. She is a mother who attends as many activities as she possibly can to support her children - from attending sports activities to parent-teacher meetings.

JoJo has given her life to the Lord's work in many areas. For years, she has been a faithful bus captain. She gives many hours a week in reaching the lost for Christ. On her church bus route, she always brightens up the hearts of the children, teenagers, and adults. Week after week, she has something special prepared to give them - from candy to ice cream to pizza to hot dogs. But most of all, she gives herself - JoJo Moffitt.

Life is never dull or boring with JoJo. She always creates a wonderful spirit. JoJo has many ups and downs in her life, but she has a very godly way of turning the downs into victories.

Many of her ups and downs pertain to her health. She has medullary sponge kidney disease. Also, since he had a hysterectomy in 1990, she has developed colon problems. Often people with the same problems would feel like just tossing in the towel and giving up. When hard times come to JoJo, no one ever knows it. She always has a wonderful, cheerful smile to give to others.

JoJo is life. She not only tells people to go soul winning but she is a soul winner herself. She not only tells people to encourage others but she is an encourager. She not only tells people to love the poor but she personally loves the poor herself. She hurts very deeply for the lives of others. She has more empathy for people than anyone I know.

You will see as you read her books, that her life is filled with getting involved with the lives of others - helping others in their ups and downs of life. She is a friend to everyone, and she has never put herself on a pedestal above anyone else. She loves people in all phases of life - from the rich to the poor, from the young to the old, to the deaf, to the blind, and to the educable slow.

One of the greatest descriptions I have heard concerning my wife was given by a Canadian teenager, Paul Wellard. She had spent many hours helping him in his Christian life. He summed up JoJo by saying, "If God had a wife, I believe He would choose Mrs. JoJo Moffitt."
